A media wall is a custom-built stud chimney breast designed to house your television, soundbar, and an integrated electric fireplace. It hides all cables and provides a sleek, “built-in” look that transforms your living space into a home cinema.
How long does a typical installation take?
Most of our projects are completed within 3 to 5 working days. This includes the timber framing, electrical work, boarding, plastering, and the final decorative finish.
Do I need a chimney to have a media wall installed?
Not at all. In fact, most of our installations are built against flat walls. We create a new “false chimney” using high-quality timber and plasterboard, meaning you can have a feature wall in any room of the house.
Do I need to hire my own electrician?
No. We provide an all-in-one service. Our team handles the relocation of sockets, the installation of the electric fire, and the setup of your integrated LED lighting.
What size TV can you accommodate?
We build bespoke. Whether you have a 50″ screen or a 100″ monster, we frame the opening to your TV’s exact millimetre specifications for a perfect “snug” fit.
What finishes do you offer?
We offer a huge range of finishes to suit your decor, including:
Professional Skim: Ready for you to paint.
Acoustic Slat Wood: For a modern, textured look.
Venetian Plaster: For a high-end, marble-like gloss.
Bespoke Cabinetry: Integrated cupboards and shelving.
Can you build around a soundbar?
Absolutely. We can create a dedicated recess for your soundbar directly below the TV, ensuring the audio is unobstructed and the look is seamless.
How much does a media wall cost?
Because every wall is bespoke, prices vary based on size, materials, and the fire model chosen. However, our standard packages typically start from £1,500 – £2,500. We provide a transparent, fixed-price quote after an initial consultation.
Do you supply the TV and the Fire?
We can supply a range of high-end, 3-sided panoramic electric fires. We generally ask customers to supply their own TV to ensure it’s the exact model they want, but we are happy to advise on which dimensions work best for your design.
Is there a lot of mess during the build?
We treat your home with respect. We use dust extraction tools and floor protection throughout the process. While any construction involves some dust (especially during the plastering stage), we aim to leave your home as clean as we found it.
